Types of olive oil
We can distinguish three oil types: olive oil,virgin olive oil, extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil: it is obtained from the virgin and refined olive oil mixing. It has acidity is greater than 1, 5%. Virgin olive oil: a "selected" mild oil whit an exceptional taste and whit an acidity level not greater than 2%. Extra virgin olive oil: olive oil with a very delicate flavor and acidity level not exceeding than 1%. |
Quality olive oil indicators are: color, aroma, and flavor.
