The extra virgin olive Syrenum D.O.P. (protected designation of origin) Sorrento Peninsula is produced exclusively from the best varieties of olives "Minucciola", native of the Sorrentine Peninsula, which have the Is.Me.Cert certification (Southern Institute of Certification). The color is green with yellow shimmers, and the aroma and the taste reminiscent those of the Sorrento Peninsula typical plants, such as mint, rosemary and lemon. Thanks to its fruity flavor, the extra virgin olive oil Syrenum D.O.P is perfect with all kinds of dishes, ideal for soups and pasta with fish and vegetable, being able to put on every table the Sorrento coast culinary tradition scents.
Tasting Notes On the view the Sorrento peninsula extra virgin olive oilhas a beautiful straw yellow color with greenish reflections; on the nose it reveals a remarkable aromatic harmony with a delicate fruity olive and a fine and pleasant hints of herb (rosemary and mint), on the palate you can perceive a medium or low bitterness and a slight hint of spice. It is fluid, balanced, with pleasant hints of spice, it has an aftertaste of fresh and green almonds. |
